Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) was established in 2003 to promote geosciences and its application for the benefit of humanity, specifically in Asia and Oceania and with an overarching approach to global issues. This year, the 20th Annual Meeting of AOGS will take place in Singapore. Co-sponsored by COASTAL-SOS, an interdisciplinary panel themed Coastal Issues - SOS (Support Ocean Sustainability) will be held during the AOGS 2023.
This panel will bring coastal scientists together with non-scientists working in industries affected by climate change in order to bridge the gap between scientists and different stakeholders. Prof. Phaik Eem Lim, our partner from University of Malaya, will also participate in the panel. We hope that this will lead to future collaborations and data exchanges for everyone’s benefits.
